North Carolina
Agricultural and Technical State University is a
comprehensive university and land-grant institution
offering degrees at the baccalaureate, master's, and
doctoral levels.
Its instructional
programs are organized into a college of arts and
sciences, college of engineering, and six
professional schools (agricultural, business and
economics, education, nursing, technology, and
graduate studies).

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University provides a comprehensive benefits
package for employees and their dependents. Many of the benefits
are derived from North Carolina State statutes, policies, and
regulations; policies and regulations promulgated by the administration
of The University of North Carolina; or the language of specific
insurance contracts or policies. The Benefits Department in the
Department of Human Resources is responsible for the administration
of these benefits programs.
ELIGIBILITY
All permanent,
full-time and three-quarter-time employees (employed for
the full academic year) at North Carolina A&T State
University are eligible to participate in the benefit
programs listed on this web site.
Permanent half-time
employees are eligible to participate in the Health
Plans by paying full cost. Tax Sheltered Annuities and
the North Carolina Flexible Benefits Plan (NCFlex) are
also available to permanent half-time employees.
